Design and Ergonomics panel

In this panel session we will consider how work from a variety of established fields of design and ergonomics research can inform our understanding of human factors in information security. Examples will be drawn from areas including air traffic control, transport, command and control, user interface design, mobile and ubiquitous computing. The panel of experts in these fields will consider a series of cases from different research fields, to help us understand what types of interfaces and interactions have proved either successful or unsuccessful in the past, and how we can draw lessons from other fields into the information security field in general.
